Cat Trucks Are Here
CAT Trucks are here! Goughs has proudly launched the first Caterpillar branded On-Highway Truck to New Zealand.

With a top secret MI-6 Cat Transportation Test facility near Auckland Airport as the theme for the venue and James Bond, his Aston Martin, ‘Q’, Ms Moneypenny and of course Bond girls and villains all present, the CT630 was unveiled to much fanfare at a gala cocktail function for customers and Goughs staff in Auckland at the end of March.
On arrival at the venue, all guests were required to pass through a security scanner and were issued with an MI-6 security pass. After drinks including Martini’s of course (shaken not stirred!) and canapés, and the unveiling of some gadgets for James Bond’s next mission, it was time for the main event.
As the Bond music cranked up, the covers came off, and the spotlights hit high beam, the two Cat Trucks were revealed to display aerodynamic stylish lines and a distinctive yellow and black livery that certainly had all those present buzzing with excitement. Everyone then had the chance to check out the trucks up close from bumper to bumper. Since the Cat Truck was launched in Australia at the end of 2010, many New Zealand customers have been waiting to get their hands on the Cat Truck and the Auckland launch certainly provided the opportunity to do that.
